Business conference \u201cSpotlight Latvia\u201d took place in Chicago, USA on October 26th. In order to develop co-operation between American and Latvian companies, conference aimed to introduce products and services, created by Latvian companies, to American businessman. Conference had the highest number of attendees since the beginning of diplomatic relations between these two countries. \u201cMeditec\u201d was represented by member of the board Krist\u012bne Rauda and manager of production development Sergejs Skusovs. They took the opportunity and represented the company, participated in networking with other participants and collected useful contacts with potential co-operation partners, to communicate future possibilities. While in the US, our colleagues visited several health care institutions. They learned more about their everyday work and routines to try and spot the differences it has from the ones in Latvian health care institutions. The visit was financed on the basis of agreement No. SKV-L-2016\/123 signed between \u201cMeditec\u201d and the \u201cLatvian Investment and Development Agency\u201d on April 25, 2016 for receiving support within the project of \u201ePromotion of International Competitiveness\u201d.
